I was very excited to listen to this album. I have never really listened to Jimi before but of course his legend proceeds him. I was actually shocked that I did in fact know several of his songs including the very popular Foxy Lady and Fire.
I have normally said that I preferred the albums where the songs weren’t cohesive and had very different sounds, but in the case of this album I actually liked the flow and similarity in each song. Guitar! Guitar! Guitar! 3rd Stone From the Sun was over six minutes and for the most part wordless, but it didn’t matter because I was just enjoying the awesomeness of the song.
I don’t have too much to say about this album. I liked it, it is great road trip or camping music.
