The Green Monster

I am always looking for fitness and health tips online and I found a great health drink called The Green Monster. There a bunch of different types of Green Monster recipes, but the creator tends to blend kale or spinach, milk (almond or soy), fruit, seeds, powders, etc. She says there was a HUGE increase in  energy, and  a decrease in cravings for sweets. She also says her skin became more clear and her hair and nails started growing like weeds!

So on my next big shopping trip I plan to buy the ingredients to begin blending my own Green Monster. I know I am not gettin gnear the nutrients I should be and this is a better way than taking synthetic vitamins and minerals I buy at the pharmacy. I plan on making the Super Chia Detox Green Monster which consists of:

  • 1.25 cup PC low-fat soy milk
  • 1/4 cup water (or a bit more to thin out)
  • 2 cubes ice
  • 1 T chia seeds
  • 3 organic kale leaves (or use spinach)
  • 1 squirt Kyolic Liquid Garlic extract
  • 1/3 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 scoop Amazing Grass Wheat Grass
